Exputo LMS is our managed learning platform. We run the infrastructure, apply the upgrades, and watch the site. You pay for the people actually logged in, month to month.

What we take off your plate
- Servers and scaling. We size and run the infrastructure for your peak number of people online, and we can adjust your plan if that grows. Large institutions can run on an auto-scaling setup.
- Upgrades and patches. Minor releases with security and bug fixes go on as they come out. Major upgrades happen at least for every long-term support (LTS) release, or sooner if you need a feature from a newer version. Plugins and the operating system stay current too.
- Backups. Automated backups are included, and we restore from them when you need one.
- Monitoring. 24/7 monitoring with Sentinel and cloud monitoring, so problems reach us before they reach your learners.
- Onboarding. Included with setup: we help upload your courses and invite your learners, so launch day is not a project of its own.
- Course standards. SCORM, xAPI, and cmi5 content all run on your site. We helped build the open-source plugins that add xAPI support, and the cmi5 plugin is built on our xAPI launcher.
Pay for people online, not everyone with an account
Most LMS vendors count every person who logs in during the year, and many require annual or multi-year contracts and a sales call to learn the price. We count the people logged in at the same time, publish our starting price, and bill month to month. If 1,000 employees each take one course a year, you pay for the handful online at any moment, not all 1,000.

What does "concurrent users" mean for billing?
It is the number of people logged in at the same time, not the number of accounts. You can register as many users as you like, and we size your server for how many use the site at once. Your plan is not a hard cap: if it is sized for 25 and 27 people log in, nobody is locked out. If your usage grows, we can move you to a larger plan when you are ready.
Is there a contract?
No annual contract. Hosting is month-to-month. Tell us before the end of a month and we cancel from the next month.
Can you move our existing platform?
Yes. We move existing sites from other hosts, with their courses, users, and data. If you are coming from Blackboard or Canvas, LMSMigrate converts your courses.
What is Exputo LMS built on?
Moodle, the open-source learning platform, with third-party plugins and our own customizations. Because the core is open source, your courses and data are never locked in.
Are restores included?
Automated backups are included. If a restore is needed because of a problem on our side, it is free. Restores for issues on your side, such as an accidental deletion, carry a fee.
What uptime do you guarantee?
Exputo LMS comes with a 99.9% uptime guarantee, and we monitor every site 24/7 so problems reach us before they reach your learners.
Where is our data stored?
In the region you choose. We host on AWS and other major cloud providers, in regions around the world, so your data stays where your policies need it.
Do you support single sign-on?
Yes. We connect your site to your identity provider using SAML, OAuth 2 and OpenID Connect, or LDAP.
Can we use our own domain?
Yes. Bring your own domain, such as learn.yourcompany.com, or we can register one for you. We manage the security certificates either way.
Can the site match our brand?
Yes. Basic branding with your logo and colors is included. If you want a fully custom look, we quote it as part of setup.
